New Build Date Brought Forward

Hi All,
This is my first time buying a new build and I was told that the house would be ready Aug/Sept 2015, this was great and gave me time to save up the additional money required for the deposit etc.
Just before Christmas I received a phone call advising me that the house will now be ready June/July - more likely June.
While for some this would be great news for me it means I'm now going to struggle to get all the money in place in time and on my reservation agreement it does state that the build completion window is Aug/Sept 2015 and I'm wondering if I have the right to request the completion date to be as originally agreed and no earlier than August.
Also I have been advised that I will be required to pay 5% deposit before completion (Feb) to the solicitor I think, I have advised that I don't think I will have it all by that date and I was told that they would be able to get an agreement in place for me to give what I have then and the rest in time for completion. If I don't manage to get all the money in time for completion would I then loose the money I have already handed over? Would I be made to buy the house or even be fined etc?
Thanks in advance....
