Broken power adaptor for Samsung laptop

I have a Samsung NP300U1A laptop which takes either an AA-PA1N90W/UK or an AA-PA3NC90/UK power adaptor (according to Samsung).
I feel that the 3mm thinness of the power connector means that it is not up to very much pressure at all which has lead to me needing numerous adaptor replacements.

Now the latest adaptor is breaking:

This particular adaptor has an end on it which I could replace if only I could find one. I've Googled for ages but cannot find one, anybody any ideas please where I can get a replacement 3mmx1mm end to this adaptor?

Above link might be worth trying - admittedly it is whole thing but not too expensive. IMHO.0 -
I investigated this when I had similar damage to a HP power connecter. I did find that Kensington sold power adaptors that came with a number of different tips, and I seem to recall that some people sold the tips they didn't need on ebay. I guess the problem would be that you'd need the Kensington adaptor too in order to be able to actually use a tip, unless it happens to be the same format as the one you have. I ended up just buying another adaptor.0

I think I am going to brave buying a new metal end to the power adaptor and soldering it to the cable, I don't want to waste any more money on a whole charger.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0
