is there some special trick to using DVD+/-RW discs? i assumed that you could write to them in the same way as any other DVD (i.e. using nero or roxio)... however, whenever i try this with a DVD+RW disc, it just doesn't work. my drive is multiformat. is there anything i need to do first? is there any way to set them up so you can just drag and drop within windows?

have you installed INCD from the nero disc?
I think in ROXIO its called Drag to disc
Then you can format the disc for RW and treat it pretty much like a removable hard drive.
If the nero is an older version you might need to update incd from nero's site forst.0
