Disabled Shopping Pro but still getting ads unable to find the program in the control panel. Can find in the x86 but says it is being used in another program. Microsoft security scanner has not removed. Any suggestions from any techie people I understand AdChoice is Microsoft but I would like to stop all ads when I go onto the internet.

Thank you for your quick reply. I have used AdwCleaner to remove from internet explorer and then used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free to remove shopper pro ads etc.

Shopper-pro is an adware program that's created to generate revenue for its developer. The annoying pop up ads you receive are generated by Shopper-Pro. Only remove this adware can you totally get rid of all the nettlesome pop up ads. See the removal guide below.
You said Shopper-Pro doesn't appear in the list of installed programs. Then try the second way to uninstall it.
Remove Shopper-Pro extension from your browser
Reset your browser to remove Shopper-Pro.
Change your default homepage and search engine
If the above methods can't help to completely get rid of Shopper-Pro. you should run a powerful malware removal tool to quickly remove it.0 -
Shopping Pro and AdChoice do not come under malware and most programs will class them as "useful".
Your best option if you've run the uninstaller is to download and run unchecky and then download and run unlocker 1.9.2. Once done, then right click on the folder of the program and select "unlocker" from the context menu.
Then select "delete" and OK. The program will be on the list to be deleted at next boot.0 -
