Letting cat out after move

good well done. we moved our cat from a rural area surrounded by fields to a town (quiet cul de sac backing onto a park) and at first she refused to go out at all. We put her out several times and she cried to come in. After a while she asked to go out and came back followed by a beautiful fluffy cat who wanted to play! It's nerve racking at first i must say but now she asks to go out every night to stalk the park!!0
