Barga IN control is probably the most awkward name I've heard in a while - but then that might make it memorable! Zen Bargains sounds a little pseudoreligious, especially if (like most other 'bargains' shops) you carry a lot of needless tat - the essence of Zen is minimalism and non-attachment to earthly goods!

Just a couple of ideas off the top of my head. No need to get too fancy as you'll stand or fall by your range and prices, not name!0 -

Both names are very poor and will turn people off in my view. Have you any other suggestions. What about using your own first name such as Jimmay's Bargains.0

Frankly the names, while being rather overthought, really don't mean a jot, especially when it comes to bargain or convenience stores. How many people do you know call the corner shop by the name that hangs above the door, or who call every, generic £1 shop, poundland?0

People are generally put off by cheap tacky names, bargain this bargain that can have the opposite effect. Just pick a decent name that says more about quality than cheap tat.0

The Cheap Store
I think "Bargainz" or a similar type of name sounds good. You want it to be short, to the point and easy for customers to remember. It reminded me of brands such as "Savers" and "Poundland".
You're selling cheap everyday products, so why have a fancy sounding name? People will be shopping with you to save money, so why not advertise it as much as possible?December 2015: 12st
