Hi first of all apologies if this is in the wrong place. We're looking to book a holiday to Sharm-el-Sheikh for March and wanting to upgrade our seats to have more legroom. Been given a price of £300 (there's 4 of us) to do this but was wondering if that's just for the outward journey or return flight as well?? Also would it be any cheaper upgrading at the airport when we check in??
Thanks x

Let's all play "guess the airline"!
Go on, give us a clue. Throw in the departure airport too!0 -
Best to ask the people who gave you the price if it is one or both ways, but which airline are you flying with, and have you booked flight and accommodation separately or booked as a package?0

Oops sorry! It'd be a Thomson flight and from Doncaster Sheffield airport. Not booked yet but it will be a package holiday booked through First ChoiceOpinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!!

I wouldn't wait until the airport, these seats usually sell no problem beforehandtravelover0

York I once flew Thomsons to the caribbean (never again) and had thought about upgrading, the additional leg room is a JOKE, seriously save your money, it isn't worth it. We are talking INCHES of legroom for additional £75:eek:Hi first of all apologies if this is in the wrong place. I meant inches like 2" certainly not worth extra £75pp!0 -
I wait until I get to the airport & ask if there's any bulk head row or exit row seats, there usually is & it costs nothing.0

OP, work out which plane you are flying on and then check it on Seatguru.
If you're unfortunate enough to be travelling on this flying cattle truck, then it would probably be money worth spending.
But if you're on a flight with a 33" seat pitch, that is already (comparatively) spacious.0
