New TV and sound bar

Hi everyone,

Looking to buy this TV
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd-...splay~RR#cat-0

And this sound bar
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd-...28899-pdt.html

I cannot find information anywhere to say if these two will work together, as in will this sound bar connect to this TV wirelessly? Does anyone know? If so is it Bluetooth? I can't see Bluetooth on TV specs? Argh!

Thanks in advance,

Tom

No soundbar will connect to a TV wirelessly. The wireless bit will be for the sub connection. The TV and soundbar connect with a HDMI cable.

Oh, my friend has one that is wirelessly connected to TV? Only wires to sub and bar are power. The video on currys website for that sound bar says it connects to compatible LG TVs wirelessly, I just can't find whether the TV I have mentioned above is one of the compatible ones.....

That is not very common then. I can't really see the point either. It will sit under the TV so a short cable is no issue and will potentially be more reliable.
