Arghh, yet another incomplete address

Grimbal

Had a couple of these before Christmas, and another one has popped up now.
Had a query from a buyer who it turns out has failed to provide a complete address. They've given the address to their apartment block. yet failed to give their apartment number. The item has, surprisingly, been returned to me.
So, do I resend the item at my own cost ? Do I ask the buyer to pay again for postage (Canada) ?

Report them here. http://contact.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ContactUs&wftype=2005&rcode=IV%25P10054&subject=False%20or%20missing%20contact%20information&bcrumb=%20Home%20%3E%20Help%20%3EMembership%20%26%20account%3ERules%20%26%20policies%3EFalse%20or%20missing%20contact%20information&instruction=&expirationDate=
Wait 48 hours and reply to say the address hasn't been updated. They should be naru'd, block them immediately.0 -
I've reported them for the incomplete address.
I would have liked to be upfront & honest with them & ask them if they'd like to pay again for the postage as it was their omission that lead to the item being returned to me. I think though this may open a can of worms
I'm such a soft touch though, as I feel bad they aren't going to get their item. They had all the address correct all bar the apartment number"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -
Tough **** for them.
Oh yup, I do agree, but there's still a bit of me that wished that I could say to them that as I have the item back, I could resend if they paid postage. I suspect a chargeback for the p&p would follow if I did send, so best not to get into a potential mess I guess"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -
