Where the smell is coming from?

Fire retardent chemicals on furniture can be quite overpowering _pale_

I encountered this in a hospital waiting room of all places, I had to stand outside, it was so bad

Check the furniture for labels to see if it has been made fire retardent.

Do you have new carpets? I hate the smell of new carpets and it always makes me feel ill.

Drains
electrical fault
Gas appliances
foam on new sofas
chemicals
new carpets
I am intrigued to find out the true cause!
