MotoGP started in 2002 & he has won that 6 times.


I'm not sure if they want his wins in total or just the MotoGP wins ?

It's a fair point robertjmca - see here and here

So it was officially re-branded in 2002, with Rossi taking the final 500cc world championship title in 2001 and then 6 more under the re-branded 'MotoGP' 900cc class.

There is no way of knowing which answer they are looking for, so it's simply a case of choosing either 6 or 7 and hoping you match their answer!

OK, I've had a squizz through the t&c's & something caught my eye..

where they show the question (in the t&c's) it appears like this..

"how many times has Valentino Rossi won the Moto GP™ World Championship? the Moto GP has a TM mark after it, which is a trade mark sign & the MOTO GP as a brand started in 2002, so that might point towards the answer being 6. Anyway that's what I'm going to enter :-) Good luck all. Robbie.
