If you do, you will win, the feedback facility for the buyer will be removed along with any defect.
Then you can deal with the buyer.
Protect your account first but RING and escalate.
Ok I will, deadline was December 30th.
Is it better to phone? I have the option of 'asking Ebay to step in' online...0 -

Thankyou so much for the advice on here, absolutely brilliant.
Once in the resolution centre and opened my case I added the tracking number. I then opened an online chat box with ebay support who needed the ebay number. They were fab and checked everything, agreed with me there was proof the item was received ( must have looked at the Royal Mail site as well ) they closed the case in my favour there and then and have released the paypal funds they were holding. Hope this helps celestius as well. :T:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

If the buyer closes it you are stuck.
Thanks, I phoned today and the case was closed in my favour.
Wasn't that easy actually as the delivery office it had been delivered from was not close to her address and the CS wanted to see some proof of posting as well as the tracking.0 -
The next thing to do is to add the buyer in question to your blocked bidders list and keep an eye out for bids placed on your items from newly registered ebay members living in the same area.
The chances are that you won't have any problems, but it's not really worth taking the risk.0 -

Thanks I will do that. I feel sorry for the buyer as I don't disbelieve her - I am still going to chase this up and make a claim with RM - however as theonlywayisup said I have to protect my own interests.0
