Recently installed the Netflix app on my android tablet. Problem is home page defaults to showing me suggestions based on my original wants list, which is not what I want. I would like to do a drill down or advanced search but this option does not appear to exist for example sub categories/genres for example I like TV shows/Reality.
When I open the app itself it automatically display the items it has selected for me based on my initial preferences. I cannot see anywhere to change or delete these or turn off this option. If I click on the icon at top left, it opens a drop down list of genres like movies, tv programmes etc but no option to go into further sub genres.
Is there any better way to search its libraries, do I need to reconfigure it? I am running KitKat 4.4.2

I don't think there is a decent search within Netflix. If you do some searching you'll find suggestions for alternative ways of finding what's available by using websites outside of Netflix, and you can then locate what you find more directly once you return to Netflix. For example
