G24 Parking Bay Fine

Hi, hoping for some advice please.
I received a parking fine of £42.00 yesterday for parking with my rear wheel on the line of a parking bay. I drive a 4x4 so the bays are tight anyway. The picture is taken at 14.00:48 and the second picture is 14.01.11. Is it worth the appeal, unsure what the procedure is. I did see that someone on another site had been successful as they had obtained the vehicle information via the DVLA and this may be illegal. The flip side to this is the images are clear of the registration number but it could be someone was sitting in the vehicle still. I have copied the details and was going to write to the shop owner that I visited and complain...not that I am expecting a response as they are a national company and probably wont give a damn
Any thoughts please

ITS NOT A FINE, ITS AN INVOICE
its not illegal either, as G24 belong to one of two approved trade bodies
read the NEWBIES sticky thread for further help0 -
Just ignore G24 - not worth appealing to the corrupt and utterly un-independent IAS on this one. G24 have never done court and all you'll get is some blustery letters that are barely written in English."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0

You could either ignore it (not recommended to completely ignore it, but you could, as it should just involve collecting debt collector letters) or send a first appeal as per the NEWBIES thread, and then decide whether to try the alleged 'kangaroo court' of IAS knowing you will lose:
http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/independent-parking-committee-kangaroo.html
- but who cares because it's not binding and gets you back to the square you are on right now. Then you will be ignoring debt collector letters! LOL.
Paying is NOT an option. Saying who was driving is NOT part of appealing or complaining so don't write 'I parked' or anything like that! Read the NEWBIES thread and if you want moral support thru the complaints process and the boring debt collector letters (please don't tell us about each letter) just compare notes with all the other G24 posters like this one:

G24 do not do court but complaints and getting it cancelled are best, in case they decide to change the habit of a lifetime. Keep your eyes on the ParkingEye v Beavis Court of Appeal outcome, on here in March 2015 as it will be relevant to almost all PPC cases in one way or another. If you want to try the IAS appeal rubbish then show us your draft, and promise us you WILL also complain to the DVLA about the 'unfair and anonymous decision' when you lose.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
