Concerned about a plant growing up the side of the property

As the title suggests, next to the front door there is a plant that is quite tall, growing from the ground and up the side of the property. As far as I can see it is not attached the property but more leaning on it as it grows upwards.

My lender offer a free valuation for mortgage purposes and that is all that has been commissioned at present, is this likely to identify if this plant is an issue? I am concerned about it being Japanese Knotweed as well but having looked at it, there are not bamboo type shoots so I don't think it is but who knows.

The property was only built 5 years ago so originally I felt the valuation would be enough but I am wondering if I should pay for my own independent homebuyers report to check that this isn't an issue and for my peace of mind?

Post a photo link and we'll be able to identify/advise. It's probably not an issue though if it's not attached like Ivy.

Thanks for posting the photo and for your reply.

Sounds like it is not too much to worry about then. It doesn't have any flowers like I have seen on Wisteria and I first viewed it on the summer but I think it is in a shady spot so that maybe why.

Have you asked the vendors about it? Wisteria can take some time to settle down before it starts flowering, especially if it's not in a sunny position.
