They're creeping back up again, now at 790. As I'm banned and not able to comment on their page and have already (along with others) told Facebook they did a scam, which Facebook seems to be ignoring, I guess this is one we've lost.

Now down to 738, the power of compers! I am a member of 3 groups on Facebook which post the names of Facebook winners. I have posted about it in them and the likes are going down. One comper posts that Pure Dentistry was contacted and said that they were unaware of its removal as someone else dealt with their social media. Hardly a big firm to have a PR/social media department!!

Yup, page and twitter down but I'm still sharing it. Why make it easy for them? Can we report them to IPC or ASA?

ASA have been contacted by at least 3 of us, and screen shots were also sent. They have also taken down their web page. Within 10 minutes of my posting about them in the groups they lost over 80 likers. What was funny was that a large number made comments on the page and these were removed instantly, and the posters barred from making any further comments. This only added fuel to the fire as far as the compers were concerned! Someone at PD must have been sat there deleting comments and people so fast that they blew the site up! LOL

I think it's more than likely someone else was taking care of their Social media pages for them and they were probably unaware of what has been happening. It's quite common for smaller companies on high streets , or small chains, to all use the same individual to create and maintain social media pages and pay them for doing so. My local pub used to use an independent person to do FB for them and only found out that they were not doing a good job of it when I reported to the landlady that they hadn't updated the page for weeks!
