I am moving but have £125 credit on my prepayment meter. Help!

I recently qualified for a warm home discount which credited my prepayment meter with £140.00

Unfortunately I am now moving to another address and there is still £125.00 available credit on my meter.

Is there any way I can have this credit transferred to my new address or am I going to have to write off over £100 worth of credit?

My supplier is Ebico and they use the SSE supply network

Usually the supplier will refund you any credit left on the meter. You phone them up when you leave and they will send someone to reset the meter.
Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.

Thats correct, but for people moving from First Utility and Npower may find retrieving your hard earned cash from these two is a long drawn out affair. Npower have £300 of mine and seem to want to hang on to it for dear life
