Argos return after 30 days

Hi everyone

I went away for a bit and the 30 days period to return curtain pole I purchased, had finished meanwhile. It's wrapped originally as i bought it. Basically it turned out that I can't use it in the flat I'm staying in. :mad:

Are there any chances to get refund for this item, you reckon?

Worth asking even if they will only refund to a credit note .
They are in no way obliged to refund for your mistake .
