what happens if I buy a car off a Dealer & find out a Finance Agreement on it ?

I'm looking for another car and I'm curious as to what would happen if this was the case. Can anyone advise please ?

    The dealer is responsible for correcting the problem.

    Also - If you pay at least 1p of the purchase price (between £100 and £30k) by credit card, the credit card company is jointly liable for putting things right. Very useful if the dealership becomes insolvent.
