Draughty floor near beams - how to seal?

We have a converted flat where beams and brick walls rise out of the floor. The hard wood floor is suspended. There is a small gap round all the features, presumably to allow for movement of both the floor and the wooden beams.

The downside is that the draughts are significant. With 6 beams and 6 bits of wall, it's chilly!

How can we seal these? Silicone would be okay for some gaps but other gaps are over a cm wide. As they are vertical - rather than horizontal at skirting boards - it's hard to know what will work.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I know flooring professionals use sawdust mixed with pva to seal the gaps in floorboards, one of the benefits being that if the sawdust is near enough the same colour as the flooring, then it is pretty unnoticeable once in place. But not sure if this would be suitable for your gaps.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

I've used draughtex rubber gap filler - comes in two widths.

They do samples so you could send off for one to see whether it would do the job and be the right colour.
