    I agree with Z that inverter will probably be in the loft. However, before struggling up there you might like to have a look at your house's main fusebox and see if you can spot a new(ish) connection to it that will probably lead via an isolator switch in the general direction of the roof. It's quite likely that some temporary fault might have triggered an RCD and switched that isolator off - in which case just switching it back on might be all you need to do.

    Next step is certainly to look in the loft where even if the inverter isn't there you should see some cables coming through the roof and going somewhere. Following those cables will certainly lead you to the inverter (as would going back to fusebox and following the cable in the other direction). And of course somewhere between those points will be the total generation meter which you're presumably reading every quarter and the inverter has to be somewhere between roof and TGM.
