Finding The Ideal Tenant Advice

Hello all - Hope you all had a great Christmas and had a not-too-drunk NYE party!!

In the next month or so we'll be looking to buy a property to let out, ideally within 2 miles of LHR. For us the ideal tenants will be cabin crew etc, but where would be the best place to advertise for these angels?

I've spoken to a few people at the airport within airlines to see if there's any kind in IntRAnet service they could advertise on for me, but there doesn't seem to be any that they know of. Admitdly the people I've asked are not cabin crew so are probably not aware if such a service exists.

Any help or advice appreciated.
Mortgage free for 5 months :T Then got another mortgage:rotfl:

I often advertise on office notice boards. Just walk into the various large companies in my area, speak to the Receptionist (or ask for 'Human Resources' or ' Building Management'). Most companies have noticeboards for official/personal notices.

Company intranet is another option as you say, but you'll need a member of staff to post the ad for you.

Of course, whether cabin crew make ideal tenants is another question........

Instead of renting to cabin crew, could you rent to the airlines themselves?

I know that my friend worked for emirates (not the same as all companies granted) - she was provided with paid for accomodation both at home (base) and at destinations. (heck they had armed guards at some destinations)

So you may find that actually the airline themselves may want to take it on and provide it as accomodation to it's staff.

Had not thought of that route - good idea. Will get on that when back at work next.
