Is there a section on the forum for Books/a Book club?

As per the title really, is there a section to discuss books, get recommendations etc?


I'd love to start/join a Book Club type thread, join up with others on Goodreads and things like that.


Is anyone else interested?

There was a long running thread on the Arms board for book readers, I must admit, I have not seen it for a while, it has probably sunk well down the board.

I am wondering if MSE would consider adding an 'Entertainment' section, maybe with sub-categories of Films, Books, and other stuff like that.


But maybe I'm the only one who would be interested.


We could have weekly/monthly book clubs and discussions.

There is a film thread running in the Arms right now, it is always close to the top.

May be just start a new thread in the Arms and see how it goes.

I'm sure you'll have people wanting to join you.

I used to be an avid reader but can't really concentrate on it anymore but would have plenty of recommendations.

I think I'll just look elsewhere. I am sure there must be online book clubs I can join somewhere.
