Sound bar and SkyHD

I have a sound bar its one of the celcius from Sainsbury, as my LG tv does not have audio out (red and white sockets) I have put the wires into my Sky HD box, so it works fine. Just a little issue I have to use the volume control on the soundbar to adjust the sound, I turn off the sound using my SkyHD remote to 0 and just regulate the sound with the soundbar remote.

I was wondering if it was possible to 'sync' the soundbar to my SkyHD remote so I can adjust the sound using the Sky remote. Is this possible?

I think the sky remotes only sync with TV's these days but you could always buy one of the learning all for one remotes and programe it yourself.

Our Yamaha sound bar syncs to the tv remote. Instructions came with the sound bar. Instructions talk us through the 'learning' process for the sound bar. If you have similar instructions you could try using the Sky remote. Our LG tv connects to our sound bar with an optical cable which I believe gives better quality sound.

Your Sky remote will have codes for all sorts of TVs. I guess that your soundbar would use the same codes as a Celcius TV, if indeed there are codes for them.
