Yes, and it also has a humidistat which just about ticks all the boxes.

    Very true :)
    so, another question...
Does she duct it out through a wall, or duct it up into the roofspace, and out under the eaves?
    Hmmmm

Whatever she prefers, it may be easier to drill through the ceiling and eaves than through solid brick wall. It depends. If your ducting out through the ceiling you must ensure it vents to the outside and not just into the loft... many have made this mistake before!

    Update,
Free loft insulation was fitted this week by British Gas.

Next job is a fan for the bathroom.
That job will be done within a month.

In addition, my daughter is considering evicting the tenants, which she really doesn't want to do, because the tenant will not comply with written and verbal instructions to get rid of the portable gas fire.

As all interested readers of this thread are aware, use of a portable gas fire is prohibited by the insurers of the rental property.
  • Why won't they comply have they given a reason as to why?

Not to my knowledge, Its just still there.
You may remember that from what we have been told previously they are getting very cheap, maybe even free, bottled gas from a 'mate'.
    Maybe that's why?
  • Surely the managing agent should be enforcing this?
