New electric oven purchased July 2014.
Dear Wife wanted to give it a proper clean which involved removing door, the handbook was quite vague about the method to do this.
Removed door ok but could not get it back on! after a few attempts telephoned Smeg to be told a engineer would come out but it might not be covered by warranty, " user error" was quoted.
Now the praise, engineer called to arrange time ,the following day, arrived on time, fixed door no charge.
That's what I call customer service.😀

Obviously I wound them up because they couldn't spell or something. Pathetic, really.0 -

Red Dawrf has a lot to answer for.
They have been called that since 1948. It stands for Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla ("Emilian metallurgical enamel works of Guastalla").0
