Kaspersky Licence

Hi, I have a Kaspersky Internet Security 3 computer licence (free from Barclays).
I have used it on 3 machines but about 2 months ago got rid of the 3rd one. I now have a new one, and wish to put Kaspersky on that. Will they know I no longer have the original 3rd machine. How do they count the computers?
Thanks

I had the same issue and emailed them - this was the reply.

"Please download and install the latest Kaspersky 2015:

    1) Download the latest 2015 version of Kaspersky: http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/product-updates/internet-security

    2) Uninstall the older version like so: http://support.kaspersky.com/10014

    3) Install the 2015 version and activate it with your 20-symbol activation code.

In order to transfer a license from one device to another, even if one of the devices is no longer functioning, simply download and install the latest version of your Kaspersky product on the new device and then activate it with your 20-symbol activation code.

Please note, that Kaspersky licenses aren’t “attached” to specific devices. They can be swapped out and changed at any time. "

Worked fine and they are very helpful and can send a link if you have any problems downloading for any reason.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I use it on the allowed 3 computers but wondered if they would know or care if you used it on more?

as long as you dont update the virus definitions etc. then their system wont know.

and to the OP as long as Kaspersky is not used on the old machine you will be fine
  • Moneysavingexpert.com's Free Antivirus software page still contains the link to log in to your Barclays.co.uk online account and claim the free 12-month Kaspersky Internet Security subscription.

My account is with Barclays in the Channel Islands. I nevertheless tried to log in to the UK site via the link on moneysavingexpert.com but I just received a code '1186' message ("the details you've entered don't match our records...")

When I later logged in as usual on the Barclays Wealth site for offshore customers, I could find no 'Rewards and Offers' link anywhere to click on.

Therefore it seems like Channel Islands online customers of Barclays are being denied the opportunity to claim the free Kaspersky offer ... unless someone else knows how to claim it and can explain it to me.
