Got impatient and POAS this morning - BFN as predicted! Only 10 days past ov & a cheapie though so it that too early to test? Having such long cycles drags everything out so much, wish they were 28 days!!
Boooo hiss to the BFN!
I tested today too, and I'm 11 DPO. I checked with various websites, and they said today would be the first day I could credibly use one of the early response tests.
I used this website to tell me the best day to test. It's really good, because once you give it your dates, it can tell you how likely it is that taking a test on a particular day will be appropriate:
http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/tools/pregnancy_test_calculator.php
ETA: Told one of the few friends I'd confided in about the BFN, having heard her talk about OPKs and charting, in the hope of some sympathy. Her reaction "Only ever did one pregnancy test, and it was BFP". That's it, I'm never talking to her again
On the plus side, my ever-loyal FitBit told me "You Rock" this morning, so the day's not a total disaster, lol.© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -
Thanks for the info Cuilean!
No one needs friends like that :rotfl:0 -
Afternoon all
I used those cheapy HPTs from amazon first time around, and I got a teeeeny little positive at about 12dpo, despite testing from 10dpo. I could see it, but DH couldn't and I confirmed with a digi the next morning. This time I'm trying to wait until 12dpo to test so as not to waste tests, but am too impatient to just wait for my period to arrive
Massive temp dip this morning, despite being out until 1.30am on a work thing, so woke DH up early and made him DTD before DD woke uphe was pleased and grumpy at the same time :rotfl: I couldn't do an OPK yesterday as I was out the whole evening, but I'm guessing it would have been positive and today is OV day. Can I be updated to 0 dpo please :T

Welcome to the newbies! I'll add you to the front page later
hugs to any BFN and AF sufferers x x x
CD29. AF due Thursday. I feel weird.
My boobs don't hurt AT ALL, yet normally before AF they constantly hurt. I have no CM (that I can see) and I don't feel particularly PMS-y. But I have had the odd cramp, and they are hurting when they appear.
The pain I had when I was admitted to hospital last year has returned, so I know that is not AF or pregnancy related as I was on the pill at the time, so heaven knows what this is.
I've resigned myself to AF coming so enjoying myself today and tomorrow (and Friday!)Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

I've also resigned myself to the arrival of AF. Hubby texted as he left the office, asking if I needed anything from Tesco. He was told wine, vodka, soft cheeses, shellfish, and enough cans of cola to sink a ship. S*d you, body - if you won't play by the rules when I need you to, why should I return the favour?
The day got a bit better after the Fitbit episode. We're mid-way through selling our house, and it looks like contracts are ready to exchange. We thought it would take until Easter, but now there's a chance we'll be in our new home by the end of the month. Woop woop!© Cuilean 2005. Well, now 6 days late but still BFN. Guess my cycle is fluffed. Really no idea now and it's getting to me.0

Honestly I do wish our bodies were more predictable. Hugs to all those with BFP this month. I don't know if I have ovulated yet. I do the ovulation tests but I went away with work for 3 days (with out my oh, poor timing!!) but forgot to take them with me :-(
However I have bigger problems as likely to have ovarian cysts - have been having abdominal pain the last 2 months but just thought it was my body messing with me. Went to the docs today and have been referred for as. Ultrasound. Angry an myself for not noticing the symptoms sooner! Don't know what it means really, I am trying to avoid thinking the worst!Recently married and loving it x0 -
Yikes, Lulu. Your body is having a brilliant time messing with your mind

I like the sound of this fit bit, not sure I am keen on the excersise though 😜 very exciting with the house, the waiting is the worst bit!Recently married and loving it x0 -

Yep, it's well and truly rubbish! Ooh the house stuff is sounding promising!
Oh Aileth, I'm sorry to hear AF still hasn't arrived, and neither has a BFP!
Haha nightsky exercise is the devil!
Well, I finally have confirmation.....through a surprise AF. Two days early! But i suppose that means I had a bog-standard 28 day cycle!
Luckily OH has said that we're going to try really really hard this month, but that's probably because OH's birthday is the day after predicted ov!
So could I please be updated to CD1, and can I guess 3 BFPsOur Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Thinking of you pinkshoes
Lulu - totally gutted for you! Everything crossed that next month is your month
Congrats skapps!!
Hugs to all with AF - enjoy some wine!
I thought my AF had finished mid CD5, as usual, then I had three days of spotting! No idea what my body's doing but it seems to have stopped.
Had my CD8 dtd last night even though I got home late. Really want to do SMEP this month. Will start opks at CD10 (tomorrow).
Can I guess 5BFP this month? Hope one is me lol :rotfl:
