Hugs chick p, I really hope this is your cycle.

If you haven't already chocolate lover I'd recommend downloading an app like fertility friend as it had lots of helpful tutorials on ttc. You'll end up wondering how the human race survives.

6dpo here, nothing to report. Made the biggest effort so far this month so hoping. If not, by new year we'll be booked in for more tests privately. I need to take some control and that's the only way I think I can.

  • Thank you :)

I have got Ovia and Glow on my phone and been tracking with them since before I had implant removed :) I tried FF but couldn't get on with it although still get the emails about tracking and find them useful :)

Didn't realize your temp changed and your cervix was different or anything like that!! :o It's amazing how much I've learnt about my body.

Although definitely a symptom spotter with EVERYTHING I wonder what it could be AF or Baby?!:rotfl:

My period arrived today - 9 days late. I'll see whether it turns up on time next month and maybe make a GP appointment if not. I'd like to get it checked out before we start trying just in case.

I've downloaded Ovia to get me up to speed with various TTC things too.

Hi tatabubbly, well done on the 28 day cycle!Did you have any trouble with your GP as you haven't been trying a year?

    :

I've been off the pill for a year and not actively trying but not preventing either. My cycles have been terrible though, 60 days, 40 days so she didn't mind getting things started! I did go private though as I'm abroad so it helps!

Had my appointment yesterday, one lovely big follicle there ripe for picking :) So I've taken my HCG injection today and in 36 hours, there will be some baby - making! Lol.

Welcome Tatabubbly & Ratison! Hope your stays are short :)

Tatabubbly - fingers crossed your treatment just kicks things in straight away!

Ratison - I'd say to just start recording everything now. If you are really worried that you may not be ovulating, then get some of the ovulation prediction kits, just to put your mind at rest - but do those for a few months to really see - the first one I did was fine, OV came up on the expected day, but the second cycle, I kept getting "high" but never "peak" so I've been doubting whether I ovulated or not. But, as you are just pre-planning now, you have time on your side to really give it a few months to check it all out. The, if by the new year, things are still a bit all over the place, you can go to the GP armed with facts :)
  • Hello all, have had a week off work so no access to internet...

9dpo and temps already starting to drop so not looking likely for this month. There really is nothing else we can do in regards to trying so guess we just have to keep going.

    Sigh

  • Welcome Tatabubbly, clarabell, andie, ratison and anyone else I've missed!

Wishing you all the best of luck, hope it happens soon for you all.

I've been quiet this month as we decided (after last months big disappointment) to try and take a more relaxed approach to it.

So I'm not recording anything, not asking about CM and she's not checking or focussing on anything either. (I still know what CD we're on and when we've BD'd)

Just been BD'ing every other day. Been much easier and more relaxed this month, it helped that the right days fell over our holiday so no work getting in the way.

She did however think she had OV on CD18 which was Monday, if so that again falls perfectly into the times we've tried.

It's also when Glow roughly predicted it would be. (I'm not logging anything but did just have a quick look at it) So I think we're in TWW.

We've felt much happier and more natural so hoping that will help. We're only a couple months now from when baby would have been due. Just after Christmas. Does keep popping back into mind every so often.

Welcome newbies, hope your not detained here too long.

CD10, cm getting more like ewcm, time to let the being commence :p
  • Thought you'd been quiet Freddie, I hope the relaxed approach works for you.

We are CD11 and haven't commenced bding yet, our problem in previous months was starting too early and becoming burnt out. Got a flashing smiley this morning on CB so we will start every other day now. Going to try using Conceive Plus this cycle.
