Evening all
I think I've lost my mojo a bit. Still feeling under the weather and ended up spending the day cuddling with DS2 watching Frozen and then both falling asleep.
Don't feel like I'm doing at all well in the sales this year. Is it me or are they pretty rubbish? I've had a look at the Boots website and may try and get a few bits but to be honest I think people are getting sick of the smellies gift sets.
Does anyone know if any of the Clinton's stores that were 50% off last week have dropped to 75% off? Would hate to have to pay full price for xmas cards this year
but don't want another wasted trip.
all cards removed from my local yesterday:eek: im going in to bigger one tomorrow & ill report back, fingers crossed0 -

I went into Clinton's today, everything Xmas 75% off and 3 for 2, but no Xmas cards to be seen anywhere. I did get 3 10m rolls of Xmas wrapping paper for £1.50 though:D.
I also noticed cards buy 1 get 50% off another, sign was right above the valentines cards :rotfl:
Also went into Wilko's still only 50% off xmas stuff but they had loads left. Might be worth a trip later in the week.0 -

You waiting for Boots and me waiting on Creme Eggs:rotfl::rotfl:. Typical of me really - Evangeline went out very early doors and managed to get some d/washer tablets a couple of times ago - now, they may have been worth it but... creme and caramel eggs?:rotfl: I must be mad!(:rotfl:) Anyone going out to see what those eggs now scan at instore?
Maybe if they are 3 for £1, I should just get a grand total of 2 and then... GC?:rotfl:0 -
Creme Eggs scanned at 3 for £1.53:( (2 for 88p+65p) at about quarter to two am. I couldn't try the Caramel eggs as the store I went to had none, so not going back there! Knowing my luck, I will be just a few hours too early, watch the 3 for £1 appear on a.com straight away at 8.30am, be updated immediately onto msm and everything be ended by the time anyone can shop. Or...they may have changed their mind and not be putting them onto 3 for £1 after all. They are still showing full price on a.com (as at 2.40am), so not over yet in the sense that it hasn't begun. We need someone to see what they scan at at just before 6am.
Meanwhile, not all wasted as I picked up some wombles (only reporting the failures:D). This is a strange one, as showing the McVities (actually Jacob's now for the pedantic:p) Baked Cheddars as being an mbuy price at M. They are £1.09 individually but I suspect 2 for £2. 2 for £2.18 is not correct as an mbuy price. Might mean nothing or might mean picking up lowest mbuy price again.

Fwiw, I wouldn't even bothering buying the equivalents of any of those items in M! And I wouldn't even bother buying any of those products in A either. They're all quite expensive really:rotfl:. In a time of supposedly low food prices too - I don't know about low inflation causing people to delay purchases - but these Cadbury's eggs on not good enough offer for me yet is certainly causing me to delay buying anything!:D (Why would you, when the price might go down? Or... :obecome hideously more expensive if the mbuy is, eventually, put on and appears on the comps.)
I'm off to bed, and I'm cued to wake up as soon as a 3 for £1 has been put on and already got through to comparisons just in time for me to miss it again:(. Goodnight.0 -
