Thought I'd let DH try one as he'll eat any chocolate & didn't know they were different & he said, what have they done to the chocolate? It tastes horrible! Barely edible he reckons, but think he'll manage. Not tried one myself yet. Did look a little shiny.

Yes, I did hear this earlier:

    http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/shortcuts/2015/jan/12/-sp-the-cadburys-creme-egg-scandal-how-to-stage-a-chocolate-revolution
    http://www.theguardian.com/business/2015/jan/12/shellshock-cadbury-comes-clean-on-creme-egg-chocolate-change

    Indeed, utterly shocking!:eek:_pale_ Scandalous!

I did enjoy some parts of the article and some of the comments that had been posted. This from the article: "The spokesman said the new chocolate had been tested on “consumers” – industry shorthand for “idiots”, clearly..."

I can't find the right comments now that many more have been posted:rotfl:. One was about the 'taste test' though - they suggested in order to see what amount of lower quality would get past the idiotic consumers. Obviously quite a lot lower:(. Idiotic indeed. Well, we already have the proof of that - the way most consumers shop on our wombles!

Anyway, we all know Cadbury's Dairy Milk choc. is rubbish - A S/P beats it hands down any day!:rotfl::rotfl:

“The Creme Egg had never been called Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Creme Egg. We have never played on the fact that Dairy Milk was used.” But indeed - “As true as that may be, it offers little consolation for fans of the original.”

Just a forewarning that there will be no Creme Eggs going onto any of my lists near to Easter when the downsized 5 pack eventually have expensive offers available elsewhere. You have your chance to get them - they will not be any good later on!:)
