    Sorry a bit OT but....

Please be aware of poss dangers on long haul flight (anything 4hrs+). I've just emerged from a scary stay in hospital after having a life-threatening DVT/PE, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, (blood clots in leg then lungs). It happened due to long haul flights to/from Peru in Nov. Best advice I have been given, (hope it's OK to pass on), is not to sleep on a flight cos then you are mostly inactive. So hard to do I know but remaining even slightly active can stop blood from pooling and forming dangerous clots. Hope I haven't worried you unduly, (it's very rare it happens so they say!) Also watch out for breathlessness and any, even slight, leg pain afterwards.

Hope you have a wonderful time.

    *envious* :o

Wow! Thanks for the advice & to eightieschick88

We were planning on sleeping so maybe tempted to set an alarm and go for a walk up and down the cabin every hour or so. I always took those warnings as a bit of a 'were covering our own backs here' kind of thing.

Thats why i posted it for the coven :rotfl:

Coven could have had one each, if I found the 5 HUKD poster left.

Reckon they must have taken from those cages they restock with. No sign of any crates end of aisle like they suggested.

Lots of cages with cardboard in from them doing their afternoon rumble I think it's called. Staff every aisle tidying, I must have looked right idiot up and down same ones with my empty basket. :o

A friend of ours got it to, she nearly died was awful, we also thought it was a bit of scare mongering but its worth just being a bit careful and everyone listern to hippychicks fab advice xxxx
