glad to see some of you are getting 1p chocolate, none for me and i wanted one of the wee jumpers for dgd dolls she loves barbies,
feeling glum today its ds2 21st birthday today and none of his aunts or uncles sent him anything not even a card:mad: I did all of theirs sent them nice pressies and they are all better of than us so could have at least sent him a card but never mind at least my lot are making a fuss of him, he is a quiet lad and did not want to go out so just family and does not eat cake so i have made his favourite millionaire shortbread and decorated it and a sticky toffee pavolova,
Sorry to hear about this, but I'm sure your ds2 appreciates what you have done
You have pm about jumpers0 -
For those with little ones who like sprinkles, I managed to pick up some Christmas type sprinkles from the Sainbsruys cake making isles for 20p a tube today, also some little cake topper snowmen for 20p a pack.
Might be worth a look, as they might drop to 5p this weekend.Wishing you all good luck!

Bubbs, just came back on to check you got back ok after the accident.
I had an experience with an ambulance never arriving last year when son came off skateboard and had possible spinal injury (he didn't thank goodness). We had phoned to check on ambulance. Eventually flagged down a passing ambulance car. He told us that one way they manipulate their figures is that if a follow up call is made to chase up an ambulance, they reset the clock from that time, so it looks as if there has been less of a wait.
Hope your neighbour is ok.0 -
Happy birthday to your son rhosynbach. :beer:0

Thanks me too
It was the car accident that made me feel ill, they would have been VERY lucky to get out alive:( the rd has finally reopened after 4 hrs:eek:
I'm glad things are looking up for you, you have been missed:A
We only went out for a smoke, bless her she lives over the rd from me, i was just shocked how long the ambulance took, we had to ring again, but i guess they were stretched from accident:(
Sorry to hear you've had such a rough day Bubbs. Glad you were there for your neighbour0 -
