It's a close call with Pernod, but mine would have to be Smirnoff Ice! Even the thought of them now, many years on, makes me _pale_ _pale_ _pale_ _pale_ _pale_...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I haven't got any glitches in this post, except possibly (but highly unlikely) when I talk about the Dettol 36 pack wipes (I know - the cornerstone of every riveting conversation:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:). There have been a series of items with price being reduced (in the loosest sense of the word:() in A, several to prices somewhat lower than we normally see on shelf prices, and a number are on the current M list (still on the last thread). I'll catch up with them when I eventually move the list. They don't make any difference to the net price (assuming they always compared) as, although A has put prices down and in some cases now beats M's price, it's still not 10% cheaper than M on any of the items:rotfl:. I suppose it doesn't make much odds, as same net price, and A doesn't have you having to spend to reach cond.spends but gives a 'simple' 10% off offer.
For shopping elsewhere () the Tuc Crackers and McVities Lemon Digestives are back (50p once again in A). At least they may help, as 'bobs have put down the prices of the Dettol 72 wipes as well - they were £3 vs £1.50 A (avoiding S's previous mbuy 2 for £5 offer), now £2:( vs £1.50. Speaking of Dettol, I notice the Dettol 36 wipes are now straight £2.26 for A - are they no longer in the 2 for £2 offer?
And, if you are shopping with T, perhaps if you have a cond spend to reach, these items - I thought they were Dettol but they are not, they're Mr Muscle - may give more than half their cost back:
Mr Muscle Touch Up Cleaner Kitchen (300ml)
Mr Muscle Touch Up Cleaner Bathroom & Toilet (300ml)
T £3.00
A £1.00
Not that that £1 is any good price - I'm sure that any bog standard cleaning product will be able to clean the kitchen or the bathroom and toilet and maybe just as effectively, or more effectively. I think this is more about branding and marketing and the muggles being caught by the look of the products. They seem to me a very good way of selling (they don't give:D) very little mls of cleaner for the same price, or more expensive, than one of those All Purpose Cleaning liquids. About 75p (or cheaper the Elite way;)) for 1L or £1.00 for 300ml Touch Up? May be "okay" though if otherwise struggling to reach cond. spend and if the £3 off is treated as, effectively, giving this "free" and then - we hope - contributing £2 to a PP vs A.0 -
