evening all hope everyone is well, and having a great new years day xx
see i missed some glitches but my shops were closed today had a lovely day with dd1 family they have just left, her poor oh started work at 5am today and the lads walked out at 6pm having not finished yet, I am sure there boss is going to complain but he only came in for an hour and as the whole shift walked out together i am sure they cant sack them all0 -

I don't usually do resolutions but I might make an exception this year and resolve to get rid of a large amount my hair ( on my head for all you comedians out there
) I do like it long but that's a silly amount of time to spend straightening it out

I know this question wasn't directed at me but my reason was that I went to sada with a £7.71 apg to use.I was intending to buy 1 toblerone for £3 and 4 packs of biscuits for £4 and allowing £1 for fillers leaving me with 29p to pay but the tob was £4 and the biscuits were 2 for £2.50 so I would have had to fork out more cash and I had no intention of doing that when I didn't need the choc or biscuits anyway.
I know what you mean about prices being lowered than expected. I had one of my shops earlier last year when the Birds Eye 42 Dippers went through at £3 rather than £4.25:(. It then had me having to get £1.25 more spending by buying something else and that did not nearly contribute as much to the APG back (more like a 12p 10% and the Dippers now just 30p - therefore 42p instead of £1.25+30p) - it does make things more expensive.
My Sains shop of £20 yesterday (then able to use cond spend) would have been £17.10 today:(. They've put prices down (in other words, for me, up) on other items I bought not just the three I've mentioned earlier. I would be having to find nearly £3 to spend and the £17.10 shop would now be giving only about £7.10 back instead of £10. A price reduction has a double-hard effect: not only do you now have to spend more and buy further items you didn't need to before, making the shop generally more inefficient:(, but it also subtracts the amount of the price reduction from the voucher. I disliked Mr A when they put the prices down on the Heroes tubs:( - a £1 drop on each tub cost me £2 more by taking that off the APG and I then had to make up £2 from somewhere else and that didn't return anywhere near £2, but more like 20p:(. Making the price reduction an increase in price of £1.80.0 -

TM that's a great buy on the eggs, my feeling is I have so much in the freezers that it makes sense to use it and not spend, anyway I have never seen a decent reduction in our Sada they think 50p of a £4 bit of meat is a reduction:oThe person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0
