Can't use all of quote as on my phone. I still find it bizarre that 2 footballers can be convicted of killing people by drink driving and are re-employed relatively under the radar with hardly any media coverage and yet this attracts so much attention.

It strangely makes it appear socially acceptable compared to rape.

You hit the nail on the head there, it is more socially acceptable than rape.
People may view it that if someone kills someone when driving drunk, they intended to drive whilst drunk, but didnt set out with the intent to kill, where as someone who rapes, set out with the intent to rape. I dont know, just one view on it.

Edit: I cant remember this much hassle when dirty Den got the job on Eastenders, and didnt he commit murder?

I've always said this before - superglue is non-grocery and therefore it doesn't count!!

That said, I thought flowers didn't count but it seems they do. I don't think there's any comparable vs T, S or W, but it seems they pick them up on instore collections in Morries now. (I think they may have changed the APG T&Cs - surely, I saw "flowers" in the list of excluded items before?:think: I can't see any mention of flowers being excluded now.)

So... does anyone want to try the one I have at £10 vs £4 on my list?:eek::eek::rotfl: (I take no responsibility of course:).)

I may try it, link me then if it compares to morry is it the pink harmony

Has anyone bought the 'normal' (for me) 2.5Kg White Potatoes today or got them on a womble? Someone surely must have. Are they comparing against Sains. please? It looks like there's a possibly unfavourable error on msm (it's not letting me view all stores again) and showing OOS for A on the Sains side of the site, so may be returning N/A. Is it only comparing to £1.25 vs Waitrose?

OMG the Ched Evans debate on QT is making me :mad::mad:
Have kept silent up until now.....but honestly!
Rape convictions are by far and away the hardest convictions to secure so Im happy that if he was convicted, the evidence was there :(
He is so desperate to get back into his football career. He has 'apologised' whilst still protesting his innocence. I have read the finer details of his court case as they are published to people who subscribe to certain websites for legal professionals ....and the evidence was overwhelming :(

rape convictions in this country are hard to secure because our system lets victims/witnesses down massively :( convictions don't come easily and I have no doubt in my mind they are correct when they do. How well someone kicks a football means nothing :(

    if that's unpopular....sorry

The net result was not the same. When A on me instore reduced the price on those Heroes tins (bought at the wrong time, before Christmas:laugh:, I should have bought on RTCs now, and should have bought online back then not instore), it did make a difference on my shop, paid almost completely with an APG. I had to add a £2 item (cover for £1 price drop on each Heroes tin) to the shop - that should have compared £2 vs £1 at M in the event went £2 vs £2:(, so lost me £1.80, if it had compared vs £1, it would have lost me 90p.

Compared to having Heroes at £1 more expensive instore price - then £5x 2 = £10 vs £7. £3.70 (with 10%). Heroes at £4 = £4x 2 = £8 vs £7 = £1.70:( (with 10%). The additional item, costing me £2, does not give £2 back to the APG. It was a less efficient shop (having to spend certain APG spend amount) that got me less back as did not have £5 prices and APG refund from those, instead the percentage or even straight amount APG back was much less. If a product is reduced in price, that amount is lost from the APG (or BM or PP) and is not got back entirely by an additional item that now has to bought in order to reach the same required spend amount. This required spend amount would have been fully reached had the original item been at its higher price rather than reduced, and that original item would have given all that amount of the price cut back in difference had it been at the higher price and not had its cut in price.

Not saying it doesn't happen and not disagreeing with you. But this man clearly did rape a woman and spent a paltry sentence in jail because of his fame....and also thinks he doesn't need to apologise for it. I just sit here and think how his victim must feel....him getting all the media attention that he is?

I won't argue about it. He is as guilty as sin and thinks he's above paying for it.....because he got a 'famous complex'

    Sorry

So would you say McDonald is guilty too? Curious.
