In RL I feel like this; although i know none of my family really understand the glitch stuff they do try and humour me, but ive spoken to friends about it and they look at me like ive gone nuts! Because its quite a big part of my life (too big perhaps), its hard not to talk about it to others, but i try to resist.
I do however feel here that its considered almost normal and we are a bunch of like minded folk.... But IRL i feel alone, and a bit of a black sheep.
I know this feeling
I've helped people before when it's 'easy' (eg the magnums) but if you try to explain an apg glitch they look at you as if you're completely bonkers and usually ask 'why bother?' :eek:There comes a time in every woman's life when the only thing that helps is a glass of champagne ... Bette Davis0 -

I probably won't be around as much as I have been for a while. I'll pop in from time to time but I'm struggling to focus on shopping and glitch finding because of how I feel about my job, so need to spend some time on a plan of action. My post yesterday was just typical of the crazy ideas I get when I start feeling that everything is getting too much for me
I get my assessment at the autism clinic at the end of March so looking forward to that as it gives me some hope that I'll get help to deal with my problems once I have an official diagnosis.
I wish I had the luxury to just quit my job but we can't pay the mortgage if I do that so unfortunately I don't have any choice at the moment, I must struggle on until I find another job
I do hope you don't stay away as a result of our response to your idea yesterday, though expressed in different ways we were trying to keep you from making the wrong decision :A. What none of us said, unless I missed it, was if you needed to go off work sick as a result of how you feel then that may also be necessary and it would be worth talking to a Dr if that is the case.
Keep participating in the Elite where you can.
I have found in the past that where decisions need to be made it can be useful to make two lists (each split in two) - one with the existing job and positives and negatives, another with the alternative/new job/role and again positives and negatives. It is not the necessarily the number of positives or negatives that will make the decision, but jotting it all down can help get a clearer perspective about what you are not liking (or indeed are liking) about your current job/circumstances and mapping out the alternative can help outline whether moving somewhere else would solve this/make you happier ir if, with a few adjustments (either to the current job or your approach to it) it would make it better. or a fundamental change is required.
In the past I have had colleagues leave because they thought it was this job in this organisation - they went to do a similar job elsewhere and they faced the same issues as it turned out it was the nature/demands of actual role that they no longer found rewarding. Others it was just looking for a new/different challenge and have really settled in their new job. While further others made a career change and again some have ended up happier while others say it was the wrong decision and they miss their former career.
Ultimately, it is better to make a conscious decision to stay in what you are currently doing and make the best of it, or do something about it to make changes either in the current job or to start looking elsewhere, than it is to just stay and be unhappy/not enjoying it. As I mentioned yesterday, it can be easier making those choices while in work (as there is less financial pressure to potentially rush a decision). The other thing is if work is causing you stress/making you feel ill, then employers have a duty of care for their staff and there are HSE guidelines on stress in the workplace which may be worth a look to see if changes are required.
Now I better get off to work or I may be joining you looking at alternatives (and not through choice - just to add I am very fortunate as I do happen to really enjoy my job ... well most of the time anyway).
Sorry for the long post everyone :A

I won't be away as such but may skim and lurk some days when I don't have so much time because I'm job hunting
I do worry though that sometimes I annoy people if I waffle on too much about glitches that are obscure and not that great a saving because I know I annoy people in real life like this, so it's nice to know at least some people want my postsI apologise if anyone feels I've done this and also for moaning about my problems too much
I find most RL people glaze over when I talk about glitches - but, hey ho, their shopping bill is higher than mine and if they're happy with that...!At least here we all appreciate each other - and sometimes it's the obscure glitch that someone might just be hoping for. :T Never stop posting - about anything you like. It seems there is always someone here who can relate.

I'll be honest, I have no idea if it's dodgy or not, RBs don't interest me.

Good morning. Did we know A give you £10 credit if you find out of date products instore? I know I didn't as otherwise I ciukd have made a fair but rather than helpfully telling staff
.
Coupon Mama (... participating in Elite activities under a pseudonym?) has pulled together 10 things that people may not know about A ... I am sure we could extend the list if we wanted to (but probably best not to make glitching that explicit).

I found out of date sauce jars in sainsbobs once - or at least I didn't find out they were until I started to put everything out on the worksurface to start dinner - chicken, veg, sauce jar etc.
so I took photos and posted them on the sainsbobs FB page.
They messaged me and refunded my purchase by way of nectar points :mad:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
