We already have a monitor on electricity that we got several years ago and the thermostat on the gas central heating does a good job at regulating gas usage.
Cant help think that they may be preaching to the converted a little with us....but we shall see...
I certainly wouldnt pay £34.99 for the electric loop and anothwer £24.99 for the gas one if its the same thing as they are selling on amazon....Think theres also an annual charge to keep it going and whilst its free for the first year...again I cant see the point in paying for that....maybe time will tell and our energy costs really will go down
I'll certainly use it for the trial if only to compare if its as reliable as what we have used up until nowfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

I had a very scary day yesterday my DS1 who has additional needs had a tonic-clonic continual seizures for nearly 90 minutes. This was the first time it had happened. He is only 7 years old. I was so scared I thought he was going to die. He couldnt breath and the hospital had to put him in an induced coma to stop the seizure. I spent the night with him at hospital and my OH is with him tonight while Im at home looking after DS2. He had a CT scan that came out clear but he was being tested for encephalitis and meningitis but they don't believe it s that. This week they will be keeping him in all week and running tests EEG's and a MRI to check for why he had the seizure. They told me that even with the investigations it may not be epilepsy but its likely as he already has an existing brain injury with a right sided hemiplegia and ASD.
They have started him on a drug called carbemazapine he has to have it twice a day on top of the raft of antibiotics and antivirals they have given him as a precaution. I am so thankful to the NHS . They saved his life yesterday.
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us informed.0 -

Most of my vouchers are now in - and the good news (I can't remember who was worried about it ) is that they haven't combined 2 lots of vouchers. ie they are sensuble £20, £10 etc ones not a ruddy great £50 problem !
No one told me there was a £50 APG voucher! I thought £20 was the max (don't know why, just did) - anyway I've just gone and got one of the £50 beauties from my mammoth shop yesterday.:rotfl:Bitcoin. If you haven't heard of it, you have now.0
