  • Took DD's tablet into town. First guy said it would be £50 and he'd have to send it away and it would take a week. Second guy couldn't give me a price, 'but leave it with me and don't worry about the cost' Erm, not on yer nelly pal, do I look like I'm buttoned up the back

Phoned another place and they'll do it for £45 and I'll get it back the next day. Not ideal, but at least they come well recommended. DD is most upset that she can't watch her Ninja Turtles though!

Afternoon FC, hope you have managed to hit hard into your New Year goals this morning. :A

Sadly I could not get another inch of meat into any of my freezers. :(

I am hoping to do a cheese run at Ts later today, lots were dated 5th when I looked other night. ;)

This morning was spent firstly getting the kids out the door. 2 of whom have the start of a cold :( so I'm playing it by ear as we had a text from school before Christmas saying to keep kids at home if they had bad symptoms, because of norovirus. Thankfully it's just sniffles. DS2 will not like it if he's forced to take more time off school  he was positively overjoyed this morning :rotfl::rotfl:

Yes I have worked like a Trojan :D managed to fit a docs appointment and a quick shop in too and now it's nearly school run time again.

My freezers aren't totally jammed so room for some pork. I don't really do whoopsies as they're very hit and miss here and not worth travelling the distance to come back empty handed.

Were they that price in your store? I checked my shelves this morning before ordering (a pre-shop recce) and wipes were £3 but deo's £2 and that is the price I am expecting to pay (or will reject "the lot" ... as I maxed out at 10 of two flavours). Nothing like drawing attention to yourself instore if I have to do that ...

sorry, I didn't check instore first, that is why I only ordered one.

does anyone know how the £2 per kilo pork compares on a apg please? (hopefully it does not compare)

    thanks

I am!! Have to break for school run. I liked it better when school finished at 3.30pm life was much easier. This 2.50pm malarkey is nonsense.
I'll be back to it as soon as kids are in and sorted ;)

May be worth checking in your store anyway (if they collect in that store) as someone may have over-ridden the instore price. Or, like mine with the wipes, they may not have updated all their SELs/instore prices yet.
