Winter must be over - postie is back in his shorts today
Dear cat has just brought in what looks like a half eaten Ryvita. Wonder where she got it from, it's not ours :eek:0 -

While picking up my cc today I decided to try my luck using the massoove £15 apg from a toby shop last week. Wanted to get some muggle bits that are a good price and take it a few pounds over the £15 so as not to get any goats up. Got the 1kg chicken breasts for £5.52, a couple of kids reduced tees, some maggi so tender paper seasoned thingies for 50p each, some other bits and bobs and then saw some Finish dishwasher tabs reduced from £12 to £6 which I need anyway. My reckoning was £23ish total.
Gets to the till and the register rings up £30  Never thought my maths was that badI hands over my £15 apg to the middle aged male cashier....and he doesnt bat an eyelid :j I was so pleased I almost ran out of the store.
I checks my receipt when I got home and I have been charged £12 for the £6 reduced dishwasher tabs:(:( I am hoping to go back to the store later to get it sorted out and hopefully get my first ever £2 GC. Teach me to be more vigilant in future
Oh had a job interview today for a different role with the same company, less hours and pay but it will mean that he can carry on at college while working. Fingers crossed he gets it x0 -

Afternoon
Been to As at lunch for a quick shop. Just stuff I needed really, nothing glitchy. The Nivea wipes are SEL £3 in the store I was in and they scanned at that too (got SA to check) so best check your stores before you order.
It was utter chaos in the As I was in. Very busy at the tills. The lady on my till told me lots of random stuff wasn't scanning.....coming up as not recognised. I had 3 items in my shop that wouldn't scan. Dog biscuits, a cake and a pair of stockings. So don't know what's going on there?
ETA forgot to mention lots of the £2 a kilo pork shoulder in store. Crackling bargain.....geddit?0 -

Nivea deos will show £2 and wipes will show £1.50 if you buy them instore. cc and hd shows £3.59 for deos and £3 for wipes which comp very well v waities even though you should only be paying the lower price for them. Did that make senseHas anyone any idea if the nivea will work tomorrow for c+c shop?

Not sure but I think they are best done cc or hd too. Someone may know better though.0 -
