Afternoon All.
Not posted for a good few weeks but decluttering has continued. Boot full of stuff sold today, £140 made, plus some no longer needed furniture sold on eBay £130. Will save for holiday spends if I ever get around to actually booking a holiday.
Also, another nice letter last week from charity shop letting me know they've made a bit more from my donations, will take leftover bits from today's car boot as soon as I get chance, all nice condition, just no takers today.
I'm thinking I must be getting to a stage where much of the stuff we don't need is gone. House has always been quite neat and tidy, it's amazing how much I have still managed to find to fling. Probably helped by DS and DD suddenly being at that age where many toys, books, etc. can go.
I'm really trying to streamline everything in the house so keeping up with running it and cleaning it is easier alongside a full-time job. That's the idea. I'm also dishing a few jobs out to DS and DD now I have less time at home to do them and they are older so need to learn! I show them once how I want it done and away they go. Have to say, they are doing great so far and without moaning. DD did ask if she would be getting paid. I smiled and said no, she would be doing it out of the goodness of her heart, so thank you!
Keep up the good work everyone.
