Leaving Talktalk - dates and mobile question please.

Hi

My 12 month Talktalk contract will be up on the 5th February 2015. I only have phone and broadband and paid upfront for line rental. When can I cancel please? Would it be anytime after the 5th January?

Also, I took out a cheap mobile contract with Talktalk mobile (24mths) in August 2014. What happens if I cancel my Talktalk phone / broadband services? WIll I be able to keep this mobile deal with them as a mobile only customer, or would I become liable for the remaining contract there and then?

Am looking at moving back to Sky for phone and broadband, taking advantage of their free broadband for a year, £50 M&S voucher and cashback through Quidco.

Hello I have the same question.

I currently have talk talk for landline/broadband paid 1 year in advance and 2 mobiles on the talktalk £3.5 a month sim only deal, is there any thing like this out there from other companies? coming to the end of our deal

Hi digitaldai,
I have since been in touch with Talktalk! My remaining mobile contract will remain and continue at the same price, but am unable to add or remove any extras etc, and am unable to take out any more mobile or sim contracts as I am not going to be a Talktalk customer. I will cancl Talktalk mobile a lot nearer the time.

As for line rental / broadband, they didn't offer me any deals, and value line rental has gone up a lot in the last year and so I am not willing to pay for it all in one go, I simply can't afford to.
We currently have Sky TV and noticed Sky are currently offerning free broadband, and their line rental slightly cheaper than Talktalk. They also offer £50 M&S vouchers to anyone taking up their phone / broadband offer. Went through Quidco and stated I was an existing customer and am now also receiving £110 cashback on top of the £50 voucher and free broadband offer. This means that we will receive 12 months line rental and broadband for only £36.80 after cashback and vouchers. Can't beat that! If you are not currently a Sky customer then the same offer applies - £16.40/mth line rental, free broadband, £50 M&S voucher and if you go through Quidco then I believe it is £65 cashback, but do check.
