Builders estimate

Hi all,hope someone can help
We have had a new bathroom installed by a builder we've used before and his estimate was £2000 and £700 for materials,realised it was an estimate and could go up,he found problems with the floor and drainage which he said in an email would cost another £800 including materials which brought the total bill to £3500
However on reciept of his invoice this has jumped to £4650,which I'm disputing,I've already paid him £3200 so I figure out I owe him £300 not the £1450 he claims,he's saying the extra is for the floor work and extra tiling,I agree he did extra tiling but surely the floor work is covered in the £800 I paid on top of the original estimate
Any help much appreciated thanks

Sorry,forgot the bloody card!!!!!!,was £6000 now down to £4896,now down to £3198,now £2756!
