A UU of Simple wipes HG. Replaced with a pack of Nivea ones I received for Christmas.Thank you to everyone who posts on here0
-
I finally have another UU to declare
Toothpaste , Tesco , Original Sensitive
Don't know if I'd buy this one again. Wan't anything special, and I can get cheaper. Have brought an 'already opened and part used' Aquafresh toothpaste out to replace it.Cheryl0 -
A few toiletries outs:
10) Dental floss - need to buy more.
11) Christmassy scented candle
I'm not sure that candles are really toiletries but I have too many so have decided to count them.
Unfortunately I went away for work for two nights and ended up with some ins (hotel toiletries). They're White Company which was just too tempting to bring home even though it turns out I don't like the scent (Flowers). I have a problem!
1-6) Mini White Company toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, soap).
So my balance so far is -5 though I have a few things on their way out and no more trips planned so I shouldn't gain anything new (ok, I do need dental floss though).
And a couple of small make-up outs just to finish on a high note.
OUT:
1) Powder sample.
2) Powder sample.
It's not much but it's a start.0 -
UU 12 that I forgot about earlier.
12 bomb cosmetics rose bath creamer I forgot that I used this in my bath yesterday. I also added some Elemis rose and jasmine milk to the mix to create bubbles. Loved the creamer. I got this in a set for Christmas and wasn't sure I'd like them as I've read mixed reviews on here.
IN Vaseline cocoa butter lotion. While I have some body lotion in the stash they are all fruit/floral fragrances and a couple of my current shower gels are warm fragrances. I have a 50g tub of Boots Cocoa butter body butter open but it won't last much longer.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hello Zoology Dragon :hello:
I count candles for the same reason. I'm trying to use up all of mine and then start again buying a brand that I know I love (Lily-Flame) Adding them to my list really spurred me on to use (and enjoy) them more.
No UUs for me. I think I'm in for a low UU month0 -

Evening all. I hope everyone is well.
Yesterday was one month since my mum's funeral and I was finally able to register her death, after the coroner concluded their investigations. We have nearly finished the job of clearing out my mum's house; today was the turn of the roof space, and we filled an ultra large skip; in fact this is the third skip of this size that we have filled over the last 2.5 weeks. I have the strangest desire to now book a skip for my own house and start throwing things away. It's helped me to realise that I have far too much in the way of possessions. Another poster (sorry, I went on a speed read catch up) mentioned KonMarie and that is appealing right now. We've walked away from my mum's house with a couple of electrical goods, some white goods to be sold on and maybe 10 boxes of things to keep, mainly sheet music and my mum's treasured clarinet, our vintage computer gaming systems and books. The rest has all been thrown away. If we had had more time I would have loved to have given away the toiletries and in date food to a food bank, clothes to a charity shop, but if I'm honest no one would want the items if they had seen (and smelled) the house.
I'm off to have a very long hot shower and try and rinse the smell away. In the meantime my UUs are:
Dead sea salt -1kg
Inka eyelinder graphite
L'occitane repairing conditioner - travel size
L'occitane repairing shampoo - travel size
Dove go fresh nourishing body wash revive pomegranate and lemon verbena - 250ml
L'Oreal brow artist eyebrow pencil, blonde
I make my own bath oils and body scrubs using base oils, essential oils and salts. This was the last of the dead sea salt and I used up the last of the Epsom salt last month. I love having salt baths topped with a bit of essential oil so WDBA, and soon.
The INKA eyeliner has been in my bag for ages and I lost the lid one day on the train to work. It was a magazine freebie, has been a LHJ and WNBA so I threw the half a pencil that was left.
L'Occ haircare - I received loads of these travel sizes as freebies with the girls night out events last year. WNB as the cost/benefit isn't there for me.
Dove, I picked up in the half price Boots sale with the restore body wash. It was fine, it did the job and broke up the line of Original Source I have been using, after buying 6 bottles each of OS in mint and in lemon from Costco. WMBA.
L'oreal eyebrow pencil, I used all the way to the very end, first time I think that has ever happened. I already have a second in use and will move on to the lacura pencil I have in due course.
I'm losing control of my list a little bit, there will need to be a recount at some point soon.0 -

Hi Roguey so sorry to hear about your mumI think I was the one who mentioned KonMarie and I would definitely recommend it. I think a few people on the KonMarie thread have mentioned that it took them so much time to go through relatives' items when they passed and so they feel that having a big declutter themselves will be helping their relatives so that they don't have huge amounts to clear out when they pass.
Thank you to everyone who posts on here0 -
Morning ladies.
I have a little uu
Lancome Genefique 5ml - this was the last of my samples of this and if I was to buy it would be the Advanced version.
I received a sample sachet of S&G Sugar Crush Body Cream in the post yesterday and that was used last night. It smells of lime cheesecake to me and I love it.
I too have a problem with candles I currently have a couple of Yankee samplers and about 6 tarts and then the following giant candles:
YC Sparkling Cinnamon - almost finished now
Aromatherapy Associates Relax Candle (mini one)
Liz Earle Eucalyptus & Rosemary
Aromatherapy Associates Joy Candle x 4
YC Red Velvet
YC Icicles
YC Candy Cane Lane x 2 small jars
YC Champaca Flower
YC True Rose
YC Large jar I have forgotten the scent of
Space NK Winter Spice x 2
Space NK Vetivert
YC Beach Flowers
Space NK Cedar
They are all really lovely but are taking up a big chunk of space but I still almost didn't resist the recent QVC YC TSV on auto delivery.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
