TSB letter about registering for paperless A/C

This might save someone else a phone call. I received a letter from TSB saying that one of my A/C isn't registered for paperless statements and correspondence. Followed their instructions to do this online but it was showing that I was registered. Just phoned them and apparently these letters have been sent to all account holders regardless of if you've already been registered.

Great. What is the point of sending letters to online customers who've registered for paperless correspondence? More recycling to do.

To cover their backsides when somebody screams "mis-sale".

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

When I received a similar letter from TSB (and I have two of the 5% current accounts) it actually confirmed that I was properly registered for paperless but that the letter was a reminder that they would be strictly enforcing the requirement from, I think, January.
