When should I be invited to apply for Pip

Please can someone advise me. Dla expires in April 4th 2015 and we live in the area which is transferring to pip. Just wondering when we should be invited to apply for pip? Does anyone know?
Thank you very much. I'm just worried about dla ending and if we don't receive the forms for pip in time then it may just stop as opposed to carrying on whilst waiting for a pip decision.
Regards.

If you are asked to migrate over to PIP, and your DLA award is not simply extended due to the long queues then any DLA payment will continue at the same rate until a PIP decision is made.
Worst case - just before your entitlement to DLA ends - you can apply for PIP, and 'self select' - then again the same happens.
However, it's also possible that your DLA award will be extended, rather than them actually taking any action at all.
PIP can't cope with migrations at the moment, due to the massive queue, and I understand that in some cases, rather than making an active decision, they're just putting it off, as they can't reassess for DLA in some areas.
Unfortunately, there is little you can do other than to call DLA.
I'd call them sometime around the end of Jan.

Thank you Roger. So it won't be a case of them just stopping the dla? They would have to continue them by either asking for an application of Pip or they automatically extend the award date?
If we self selected for PIP then would the payments continue past April until a decision is made?
