Nationwide internal transfers

Has anyone had problems with Nationwide and internal transfers not showing immediately?

During the last few months I,( like others) have been transfering from Loyalty saver to Flex Direct then out to other banks then back to Flex Direct and then back to Loyalty saver.

All had gone OK until yesterday when the money transferred from Loyalty to Flex and showing online in and out, but when returning the money to Flex from outside source then to Loyalty it showed as leaving Flex but not showing as going into Loyalty, these are internal transfers.

NW said it can take a few hours or overnight to move between accounts, well why not from loyalty to Flex?

I tried a small transfer between accounts while the agent was on the line, it showed as leaving the Flex but would not show as arriving in the Loyalty, although the agent said all transfers were showing on her screen and she says there is no problem at their end, well that does not help the customer who is operating and online account!

These transfers were done approx 1130, by 1700 they were still not showing as arriving in the Loyalty, but they were showing this morning around 0930.

So anyone else having same problems? And should I expect these transfers to be immediate, bearing in mind they have done so up till now?

The internal transfer window after pressing OK says "Check and confirm the details below. If you confirm, your money will be transferred immediately." Note the word "immediately".

    Whilst faster payments often are immediate they are meant to arrive by the end of the next working day, hence it arrive in the morning. Your were probably held up by security fraud checks.

    All the FP's were immediate, I am talking about internal transfers between my accounts, that have worked OK previously

    I have just done another internal transfer, this time everything is OK from the Flex acc, showing the transaction in full immediately , but the Loyalty only shows the balance change on the accounts overview,(all the accounts page), but no transactions on the Loyalty acc page.

    Mine can take a couple of days to show on the online account statement. The balance on the drop down menu (that lists your different accounts, with balances) changes as soon as I've made the transfer.


    The system used to stress me out when transferring large amounts of money, but I'm used to it now.

    I make transfers from my Loyalty Saver to my FlexPlus all the while and they have always been instant. Same with FlexPlus to Loyalty saver.

    The detailed transaction list on the Loyalty Saver always takes a few hours to show the details.

    May be there is something different about FlexDirect - can't test it as I haven't got one atm.

    The money moved yesterday according to my Flex Direct, (everything in and out showing instantly), but not according to Loyalty.

    i.e Yesterday 30th,around 1130 I made 6 transactions in and out of my Loyalty to my FD, all showed immediately in FD, but the Loyalty was only showing transactions up to 24th, it did not even update the overview page, even one I did whilst the CS agent was on the line, although she said her screen showed it immeadiately.

    I did one this morning and it updated the overview page but not the transaction page, it has always done so before.

    Also an agent from complaints at 1230 yesterday said she would make a couple of calls and get back to me within the next 30 minutes, well 24 hours later and no call back!
