Aw congratulations Aesop hope you are enjoying newly-married life.
I've added an unexpected £16.80 from a tax rebate which was lovely news.

February I want to get going with selling, facebook, ebay and maybe even a car boot. X
  • Extra £10 from a mystery shop :)

    Total for Jan = £419 :)
    • Mortgage over-payments to date: = £16,746
    • Original redemption date: August 2043
    • Current redemption date: July 2041
    • Debt: £15,930
    • Savings: £12,430
  • £1 off Comfort Pure fabric conditioner coupon used in Tesco, the big 1 litre bottle was on offer for £2 so with an extra pound off it was nearly as cheap as the value one I buy!
£1 off Pampers nappies coupon used, they were on offer too so I got a good price.

So that's another £2 onto my total!

Also this might be a rubbish tip that everybody is already aware of but I have been doing the customer satisfaction surveys for Tesco (on the bottom of your receipt) for 25 clubcard points each time plus a prizedraw for £1000 giftcard. it's a very quick and simple survey so no hardship and I like to gain lots of clubcard vouchers for days out with my family.

how do you do so well with instagc? do you do the surveys? I try to just watch videos

Oh thanks, and I thought I do awfully! I just frantically go through anything which doesn't include paying or downloading. I have been lucky with several 50-60 points sign ups. I have entered competitions as well for similar points. Very few and far in between, currently I am stuck.
  • £4.00 eBay plus 2p roadkill.

  • A lovely £126.05 to add as a refund from energy company. I originally wasn't going to add, but then thought I should as it is due to cutting costs with energy over the last year.

    Where has January gone :-o

Well done, Hollie on the refund and the energy-saving:T

I certainly think it's perfectly OK to add to your total as it's money you wouldn't have had but for your efforts to economise on the energy you used. I added my electricity refund (around £170:j) this month too.

Maybe Aesop or someone else who knows this thread inside out will be along soon to put us both right:)
  • £4 Mystery shopping payment to add to my total.

    $8 from Clixsense.

It's been a slow month for me, and also a high-spend month.

    February should be better :)
