Recently transfered my gas and elec from npower to eon with the promise of cheaper energy. Logged on to my new account today, instead of duel fuel paid by D/D, I only have electricity and quaterly billing.
Any one have the same problems? And what is the easiest & quickest way to resolve without any large bills.

Hi anon1973 and welcome to the Forums. Thought I'd pop on with a bit of information about switching supplier.

With a change of supplier, it's not unusual for the two fuels to transfer at different times. Electronic messages pass between us/losing supplier/third parties (distributors, national databases etc) until the switch is complete. The messages follow different paths depending on the fuel. Some of the third parties are also different and deal with the changes in their own way.

I suspect the gas will follow the electricity soon. Once live, your online account will update automatically. As Robin9 says, best to contact us and check.

With the Monthly Direct Debit, we'll need your bank details to set this up. We can do this over the phone or, as you've registered with our website, you can do it there by logging in with the username/password. Both the gas and electricity will need to be live though.

Once the Monthly Direct Debit's in place, you'll pay a lower daily standing charge. This saves about £35 per year per fuel.

Thought I'd also mention the Direct Debit Manager on your online account. This gives you more control over the monthly payments and comes in handy should circumstances change.

Provided the account is billed up to the latest meter readings, you can change the payments by up to 20 per cent up or down. By up to 5 per cent up or down without readings.

Before putting the change through we'll let you know by how much we anticipate the account will be in credit/debit if the new amount is confirmed but usage doesn't alter accordingly.

Hope this is of interest anon1973. Let me know if you need any more information as happy to help.
