:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
Hello all, and Happy New Year:beer:
Have been absent for a while, find December very difficult for various reasons, but hey - it is nearly January!
Today we picked up the dogs from kennels (been on a long road trip to see relatives) and had a long walk across the fields. Made a list and did some shopping. Trying to catch up with the laundry (endless - did 4 loads on boxing day, before we left, but that was 4 days ago!) and made a curry.
Staying in by the fire this evening, watching old films and drinking (gift) wine.
Best wishes for 2015 x0 -
And just to add we have made a vow to never ever again set off on a long journey without food and drink. On the outbound journey, from home, I took turkey butties, HM sausage rolls, biscuits and a flask of coffee. Lovely.
On the last leg home, from a night in a B&B, we had nothing and ended up paying a small fortune for sandwiches and drinks at a service station.
Could have saved quite a bit by going to a local bakery/shop before we left.
Next time.....
